I retired from work some eight and a half years ago and have since been kept very busy looking after my grandchildren, gardening and, more recently learning to play the piano. I belong to a local art group which meets each Monday. We have two exhibitions per year and produce a very varied display of artwork.
My work is mainly watercolours or pastels, although I occasionally do pencil sketches. Most of it is based on photos I have taken as I find it easier to work from these
