if I sell my artwork via the site, do you get commission ?
NO, buyers contact you via your gallery page, and any arrangemenst made thereafter are between you and them.

can I exhibit anything ?
yes, you can show any pictures of your work, notthetate does however reserve the right to refuse to show offensive material such as pornography, or violent images.

what do I get from nothetate ?
your personal gallery page.
where you can exhibit up to sixteen images of your artwork.
You also get a profile to say something about yourself,
and a way for propective buyers to contact you.
allow viewers to send your images as e-cards, or tell a friend about you.
personalised webpage statistics to see how many people view your work.
an admin area to change your images and profile as often as you wish.

are the pictures still mine ?
yes, absolutely, your pictures remain your property, and your copyright. we do however ask that you allow us to use some images to advertise this website. We also have the ability to watermark them graphically if you wish us to.

can my images be sent as e-cards ?
when a visitor views your work, he or she can send one of your images as an e-card to someone else. This is a facility we offer, which you can choose to enable or disable.

how will people contact me?
when a visitor views your work, he or she can use the online form to send a message to you, any email address you give to us will not be visible anywhere on the site.

can I use this site to advertise my work ?
yes indeed ! think of notthetate as your exhibition site, feel free to use the website address we give you to encourage people to see your work...it will be something like www.notthetate.co.uk/your name

can I change the pictures of my work ?
yes, if you have a PC and internet access you can change any or all of your pictures as often as you wish,
through a password protected admin area.
(signing up is easy and you dont pay untill your page is ready)

can I link from my page to others?
yes, indeed you can, you can put a reciprocal link on your personal gallery page to any other site, via your admin area.

how do I pay ?
we will send you instructions how to pay for your years exhibition,
you can choose to pay online via PayPal, or via your own internet banking. cheques can be paid by prior arrangement. - pay nothing until your gallery page is set up the way you want it.
