I started painting 1993 in oils only had 14 lessons with a teacher and moved on from there tried Acrylics, water/color also pastel, which I only do little of, my favourite is water/color self taught.
1993 won most improved water/colorist NZ, 1997 won the Dale Mitchell Memorial Cup for Mixed Media, water/color and pastel, & charcoal. Vibrant Poppies.
Yr 2000 in the Yurara Art Society I won first prize in the Easter Exhibition at Brisbane Australia.

A little theme I add to all my Flower paintings is a little money spider very discretely painted somewhere under a leaf? A flower petal! Etc.,
I also do my own Framing and have a small business called Let's Frame It.
