I am simply a serious artist, who has respect for the history
and future of the institution of Fine Art. My personal obsession is to draw the human figure. With varying success, it is my joy to revisit the sublime abilities of the Old Masters in accurately representing the human form. The role of the artist however is to create artworks appropriate to his era. (We may safely assume that our own human form will never be 'old hat' in the future of Fine Art) How then should it be applied in a serious, appropriate and legitimate way? …..Here is a beginning.
