He largely works plein air, but the landscape works are by no means
topographical and are arrived at with a real spirit of cheating.
Artistically he alternates between landscape work and abstract work which
is more concerned with pure colour and controlled accidents.
Andrew studied visual arts at North Adelaide School of Art, South
Australia, graduating in 1998. After moving to the Adelaide Hills, and
previously having had little interest in landscapes, he found himself drawn to the lovely curves and lines in his surrounding neighbourhood.He has exhibited work in various galleries in Adelaide, South Australia, currently in the Urban Cow Studio.
